The Range
Our first anti-slip mat Is the FLOORLINE pool matting roll, a strong and flexible PVC matting roll that boasts resistances to chlorine, oils and salt water, making this an ideal solution for swimming pools and areas around open water swimming.
The resistance properties of this matting roll help to ensure that it is long lasting and durable in harsh conditions and will maintain consistency over a long period of time. The FLOORLINE matting has an open grid ‘duckboard’ design with a hollow cushioned surface, making it comfortable underfoot whilst also allowing for excellent drainage.
Alongside the comfortability, our Polymax FLOORLINE pool matting boasts excellent hygiene properties. Made from non-porous 100% PVC, the matting inhibits the growth of bacteria, helping to reduce the chances of picking up fungal infections underfoot.
The FLOORLINE pool matting is suitable for both indoor and outdoor pools. With its excellent sound absorption properties, the pool matting is ideal for indoor pool solutions, helping to reduce echoes indoors whilst providing a non-slip surface around the pool for safety. FLOORLINE can also be used in many other indoor applications such as wet rooms, saunas, changing rooms and bathrooms.
In terms of outdoor use, the FLOORLINE anti-slip matting can be used for various applications such as safety matting around poolside bars, around harbourside docks, and on ramps for boats and yachts. This matting has excellent Ultraviolet resistance, meaning that the PVC will not degrade in sunlight, the colour will also stay consistent and will not fade in sunlight (excluding the colour Red).
Polymax supplies the FLOORLINE Pool matting in a choice of two widths 600mm or 910mm, both in a 6mm thickness, and with a range of lengths with 10 meters making up 1 roll. We can supply a range of colours on request; however, our most popular colour is the ocean blue range. The Pool range is straightforward to lay straight out of the roll, and it is easy to cut should you wish to shape the matting to fit your application.
Another anti slip mat that Polymax can provide is the HERONRIB pool matting, similar in application and usage, the HERONRIB differs from the FLOORLINE Pool matting due to its premium hygienic properties and its reinforced black based bars.
Sprayed with a SteriTouch antibacterial additive, the HERONRIB non slip matting can help to prevent the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, fungi and E. Coli by 99%, helping to eradicate all growth after 4 weeks from being sprayed.
The black based bars that lay face down assist in resisting unwanted movement of the matting to reduce the chances of injury on the wet surface. The superior antibacterial properties of the HERONRIB make it a great choice for community walkways and leisure centres where bare foot traffic is prominent, and the 10 mm thickness also assists with comfortability underfoot.

Application and Aftercare
The Polymax anti slip matting does not need to be glued to a surface making it easy to install and relay in multiple areas. The Polymax floorcare kit is our recommended way to keep these matting options clean, the kit comes with three purposes.
Prepare - Polish stripper which removes the existing polish and other substances affecting the look of the flooring
Protect - This flooring adds a new layer of polish back to the flooring that is long lasting and helps prevent black marks.
Prolong - Used last to lock in the polish and give it an extra layer of protection
We recommend using our floorcare kit because it ensures your flooring is not only cleaned with the appropriate chemicals but also the chemicals which are used help bring the flooring or matting back to its original colour. The floorcare kit also helps to maintain any slip-and oil resistance to flooring may have.
